Hi Everyone, this is my first post so I hope this works. I am type O and hypothyroid. I was recently talking to someone about the changes I have made by following the BTD and she said I shouldn't be using soy if I'm hypothyroid. Has anyone heard of this or have any information? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated as one of the main reasons I started following the BTD, aside from health was to lose weight and I don't need my thyroid slowing me down more than it is.

True - but IF you are a nonnie- it would be an avoid . I personally think that soy is only for healthy individuels - in small amounts - and mainly for the A´s - but then again I am just a B who doesn´t like the way soy makes me feel.
My O daughter likes both ricemilk and almond milk as a substitute for dairy.
