Well I found this [Lola ];cd=2&ie=UTF-8

but don't have a clue how to find someone to help me personally!

My ophthalmologist believes that luck not nutrition is the reason my glaucoma hasn't progressed in 8 years, despite my problems with drugs.
He doesn't agree that the stress of my visits to him contribute to raised IOP and refused to look at my list of other IOP measurement, all taken with the same type of tonometer [Goldmann] which are several points lower when I'm not shaking all over.

I don't know why I've started to react so badly to this man and this particular hospital this year - I've even had 2 recent hypnosis sessions and practised myself to try and get over this.  I didn't quite go into panic mode at my appointment last week, managing to speak calmly to him even though we strongly disagreed.  In the end I had to sit quiet and listen as it was obvious he wasnt going to listen to me.  I came out starting an episode of a-fib which lasted 5 hours!

This weekend I tried Trusopt [carbonic anhydrase inhibitor] for the first time, despite telling him that I had an allergic reaction to sulphonamides years ago - urticaria.
I've had really bad diarrhoea today and had to carefully replenish my electrolytes to avoid atrial fibrillation.

I really think all the glaucoma meds are serious poisons and these days wonder if they started me on the a-fib path.

Please can anyone advise me?
