For the past several months I have had recurrent blisters in side the lips of my mouth. I have even had the tip of my tongue seem to split, which is painful. Before the blisters come, my lips feel hot. I try to eat "correctly" for a type O and do not "cheat" much. Does anybody else have this problem? I take good vitamins and food enzymes. |

What toothpaste do you use? You may want to try one that doesn't have fluoride or SLS. Both can be very irritating to the mouth.
Are these clear fluid blisters or are they red, angry cancer sores? The tip of the tongue is very sensitive to sweet foods. |

Has anything changed in your diet? If so, what?
Also, have you taken the candida spit test?

Ditto on trying a toothpaste that doesn't contain Sodium Laurel Sulfate. Some other types that don't have it are Biodent(at Walmart) and Jason's Healthy Mouth or Jason's Power Smile at health food store or Whole Foods. Personally flouride doesn't bother me but SLS sure does. |

So many questions? What is the candida spit test? Is it expensive? I have decided, after some research, that may be canker sores. Then I read a little more that canker sores are perhaps related to thrush, which i read, is some time of fungi. Is this anywhere near correct?
My tongue is better for the moment, but I have white patches on my inner lips. I am a great believer in Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar, so I started this afternoon with a glass of a few tablespoons in water to drink. Is this a PH issue? I have my list of acid/ alkaline foods, but which kind is best for this situation?
I guess this is enough for now. I have missed posting with you guys, but my computer has not been working until lately. Thank you for all your help. |

You may want to consider the salivary secretor test kit so you can customize the BTD more.

I would love to do that! It is on my wish list as soon as my finances get in a better shape. I ate like a nonnie for a month in the beginning and felt good, but then again, I feel good on the secretor diet too. |

word of caution on this. if you try it please be sure to check for avoids first. flouride, SLS, propylene glycol and others. I have yet to see a conventional toothpaste w/o avoids. |

There really are no topical avoids per say...but there are many irritating ingredients out there! Tea and coffee have plenty of fluoride so no need to use in toothpaste. |

Vicki, as these things are used in the mouth and are readily absorbed, can they really be considered topical? |

When you posted about canker sores, that's why I mentioned candida and the spit test, which someone else provided the link. I apologize; I should have provided it. Thrush is candida. I would not recommend a daily use of apple cider vinegar. I'd concentrate on the recommendations in the Yeast/Fungal support protocols.Hope this helps! |

Today, I have sores on the inside of my lips, very tender. Yesterday and today I ate two new foods. I had deli turkeybreast, no gluten, low fat from Giant Eagle,I rolled it around hearts of endive. I later had bing cherries. Felt great last night. This morning I had egg salad and cherries for breakfast and above for lunch. Took and nap and woke up with mouth like discribed above. Any help as to why. |

Here is an update on my lips. I changed to a toothpaste without SLS. I am using Vitamin E stick on my lips. I am sipping apple cider vinegar throughout the day. And I am much better. I hate to jinx myself, but I really am better. . .for today.
I think that specific foods can indeed cause these blisters. . .Twice I have eaten fried foods at a restaurant and the pesky blisters showed up later. I don't know what it can be, but I do know that there is a connection. |

I'm tending to figure out it's combinations of what we eat two foods together probably leads to this me-protein and fruit (to close together) You something cooked in grease + something with it, most likely.
acidity on the tender inside of our mouth (tongue, inner lips) |
