saverain, is your sinusitus and sore throat, caused by some post nasal dripping, cleared up by now? Dairy was the big culprit for me. I had all these symptoms. Completely disappeared when dairy did. Could've been the wheat as well, as I was 100% compliant at the time (ohhhhhhhh, how I long for those days . ). Any time I eat or drink dairy (other than mozzarella), my sinuses start............ just not worth it. |

But I thought you {{{{loved}}}} my feet! If you are battlling arthritis or inflammation all acceptable cheeses move to infrequent neutrals..... I agree about the neti pot. I bought one months ago, but never used it. Then I developed a scratchy throat Thurs morning. That's when I said, okay, time to try this thing out. The neti pot is fantastic! I can't believe how well it cleans out my sinuses. I've used it twice a day since Thurs morning, upped my supplements and I think I dodged getting full blown sick just by using the neti pot. The crud didn't have the ability to creep up into my sinuses and hide and grow. |

The last time I placed a NAP order, I got a couple of bottles of Respiratone (the name has changed to something else now, but it can still be found under that name). That stuff is great for all upper respiratory problems, and I have a chronic sinus weakness. I'm SO happy to find something that works. |

yeppers it does work. have used it several times myself when I've felt something coming on. this time of year is a little tough for me and feeling stuffy and headachey. gotta wonder if this half-a**ed headache I have now came from the 1/4 apple I had last night, as the stuffiness occurred then. It was not organic. Think I'll forgo anymore until I can get some organic. The DH had 1/4 too and said it made him dizzy. We both had the apple w/ peanut or almond butter. I blame it on pesticides. |

Respiratone is now called Redoxa, and can be located HERE. I have not used this product for acute conditions, like head colds, although it might work very well. I'm just so used to the chinese formulas like Yin Chaio (for a brand new cold/flu) or Sang Chu (for a cold) or Gan Maoling (for flu). What I have tried Redoxa for, and with great success, is for my chronic sinus condition that seems to settle in and just overstay it's welcome. Chronic postnasal drip, irritated throat, etc. |

IB, I do not go near apples anymore, as per the health series books...... perhaps you should look into that. |
