Interesting and thanks for posting Sky! I have always thought outside the box when it comes to appliances (Making cheese on toast, or other things under a George Foreman type grill, before panini grills were even commonly available...) Using my rice cooker or slow cooker for multiple purposes always made so much sense to me and I did away with my microwave, long before it gave up the ghost anyway... In fact I never use my oven, as between my toaster oven, 2 sizes of slow cookers, rice cooker, various type grills and cast iron pans I have no need for it!!
I have a mini rice cooker which will make 2 cups of cooked rice.....This looks like a cool idea but it actually looks more like a giant muffin or a small cake. I would need to find a gluten free recipe.
So wouldn't have to actually do very much but stir in some ingredients, turn on, wait till it cooks, and eat. Clever idea! I really like this! Thanks for sharing Sky!

Pinterest was featuring brownies cooked in rice cooker.
We experimented, using a Duncan Hines instant bag, and just followed the instructions (adding an egg and two tablespoons of water, stirred, put in container).
We had to experiment on cook times, though. We tried to slow cooker mode it, and it quickly finished, had to push it a few more times, and let it steep after a while, too. They did turn out excellent, surprisingly.
