It's just a more natural form of salt, that hasn't had the trace minerals refined away. Most, if not all, "iodized salt" contains dextrose (corn based) to hold the iodine to the salt crystals. Corn-based dextrose is an "avoid" for Bs.
I'm not impressed with the research showing that high-sodium diets cause high blood pressure. At best, they show that some individuals are susceptible while others are not. None of them distinguish between various forms of salt; do the dangers come from the sodium itself, or from the processed foods that are a big part of most high-sodium diets?
Unless you have a specific medical need to restrict your sodium intake, there shouldn't be any reason to avoid healthy salt.

In the past I've used mediterranean sea salt and also celtic sea salt, but recently ordered pink Himalayan sea salt. When my current container of the "white" sea salt is finished I'm looking forward to using the pink because I've read that it contains more trace minerals. (Whether it actually does or not.......?????.......)

I seem to collect salts, use them at different times. I do this because... since these salts come from different areas, I guess they would have different trace minerals and by my using all of them I have a higher chance of taking in more minerals.
