it's been on my to-do list for a while, finally got around to making it. i used bottled ginger/garlic paste instead of fresh.

the unrefined palm oil is supposed to have some health benefits. tastes weird to me unless you cook it with a whole lot of spices.

what's non-compliant?

is palm oil ok? since it's not on the list i figure it's neutral. everything else is good for o's. plantains are optional, rice is fine instead

what's non-compliant?

I don't think Lola was stating that there was anything non-compliant for you, but that she would just make sure all of the ingredients were compliant if she made it.  Remember that in this era of individualized SWAMi diets, each person's diet may be slightly different, so we all have to be wary for ourselves...

The real risk for AMD was associated with vegetable-fat intake. Consuming
high levels of these types of fats nearly quadrupled the risk of the
disease progressing. These fats included the monounsaturated, polyunsaturated
and trans unsaturated fats. And in this case, quantity did matter.
The more of these you ate, the greater your risk.

It depends on how it is rated on individual food lists.

Palm oil was a Toxin when I followed the Genotype Nomad diet and it's still a Toxin on my SWAMI.

Canola oil is neutral for O secretors, as well as on my oldest daughter's SWAMI. It's an avoid for me and DS, so I no longer buy it. Grapeseed oil (black dot for me, neutral for the rest of the household) is what I use instead, in recipes where olive oil just won't work.
