I was drinking homemade hot cocoa before breakfast (just cocoa and a touch of raw sugar), but had to give it up because the caffeine started causing really severe bouts of vertigo. So now I've switched to carob and happy to do so, but . . . Does anyone have a brand recommendation for unsweetened carob powder? The stuff I bought at the store has something of a processed, 'chemical' taste to it that's rather off-putting. Thanks in advance for the help |

That's the brand I use too, only I'm able to find it at local stores. |

Oh, I forgot about my bottle of carob syrup! Yes, I love it too! I stir it into soy yogurt sometimes for a treat! |

Brig! I finally made it to the board. Can't see a thing I'm typing, mind you, as my cell phone has opted to show me just the keyboard and a black screen as I type this post. Should be interesting to proof, if I even can! Here's a pure, certified organic carob powder from a great natural co-op (their henna rules, but I digress): http://www.frontiercoop.com/products.php?ct=dfmbc&cn=Carob%20Powder |

KIm, the DPN stuff is wonderful, I'm sure, though I haven't tried it personally. All the DPN products are of the highest quality, purity and, of course, compliance. I am a huge fan and am in love with Proberry caps, to name but one. Thing is, Brig can't have the DPN carob because it also contains some cocoa, which is an ingredient that is usually a Gatherer superfood but is causing her some issues. Just shows ta go ya that we're all unique individuals. Anyway, that's why she's on the hunt for pure carob powder. |
