You'll want to soak them overnight, rinse, and bring to a boil with enough water to cover completely plus a bit more. Boil for 5 - 10 minutes, turn down the heat and simmer until tender. Remove from heat then salt, and let stand 30 minutes to give the salt time to penetrate the beans for proper seasoning. Yummy

My SWAMI diet is a blend of BTD and GTD Explorer, but I'm not totally compliant. Also I try to choose foods that have a Low Glycemic index. DW and DD are A+, probably also Explorer.
