A neighbor gave me a couple of sprigs of fresh oregano a few weeks ago. I haven't yet figured out what to do with them, so they're still in a plastic bag in my fridge. I hope they're still OK to use, and haven't been neglected too long!
What can I do with them that would be tasty? I can't have tomatoes, but DD1 and DD2 can. |

Even when we could eat tomatoes, I often opted to eat my rice pasta with olive oil, dry or fresh snipped oregano and a bit of parmesan and salt. Very tasty, you can throw dried or fresh basil in it as well... |

Might be nice in a bean dish, too, if you can have beans, Ruthie. |

I add to green salad plus scrambled eggs. |
| My SWAMI diet is a blend of BTD and GTD Explorer, but I'm not totally compliant. Also I try to choose foods that have a Low Glycemic index. DW and DD are A+, probably also Explorer. |
