This will be old hat for you cyber-comfy folks, but I just discovered it: D'uh ! YouTube for recipes and cooking. You can watch people, including some of the world's greatest chefs, preparing dishes you'd like to make or learn how to make or find some new twists for. Just an idea; One of those "Why-didn't-I-think-of-this-before" ones. What does Eric Ripert do with a rabbit? How does Gordon Ramsay use eggplant in his canapés for a Christmas party? How do 25 different people make Gazpacho? Fun! |

Yes, I have started watching some You Tube cooking videos also! I watched a little bit of how to make a frittata yesterday and how to make pumpkin soup in a pressure cooker earlier this week. This is a pretty good video on how to make pumpkin soup. You could also use kabocha which is verrry good baked also: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AqpcJDpWx0o |

I enjoy watching cooking videos, too. I often use youtube for that. One vid is worth a thousand words, no matter how clearly written. |

Yes I've watched several videos on youtube related to cooking on the Green Egg. One showed a guy spachcocking(butterflying ) a turkey for the grill. |

Cool! I've wanted to try that with smaller game birds. I might one day. |

Yep, I always check youtube if I need a tutorial on something or other. Nine times out of ten I'll find something useful there. |

Absolutely! It's how I taught my son to tie his shoes this past summer. I couldn't seem to figure out how to show him what my fingers did, so we searched online, found a video he liked, and he played it repeatedly until he figured it out. |
