refrigerator? It's frozen of couse. I don't know how big it is, it's your typical leg. Maybe 4lbs? I forget how much they are and I don't feel like bending over to look this second. I would think they are all somewhat close.
Anybody have any experience? I guess I should just google it, but sometimes you all are better than google.

THAT's IT? No way. I was thinking about making one Sunday, and wondering when I should put it out. I guess I won't put it out yet.

It will depend on the size, and what temperature your refrigerator is kept at. What will also affect it is how well your refrigerator maintains that temperature, and what part of the fridge you put it in. Rarely do fridges keep the exact same temperature throughout.
For example, we keep our fridge at 34 degrees. (Mr. KK did a lot of things to it to keep it at that temperature all throughout.) Things take a long time to thaw out in our fridge.

I think mine is 42. I'll have to look. I think Lola must be letting hers out on the cupboard. Hehehhehe

That's way too high. Your food will never last in 42 degrees.
ETA: I live with an HVAC&R Service Tech, and he's very particular about the temp in the refrigerator. He's installed all kinds of improvements and our food does last a long, long time in it.
Sharing with the best of intentions.

Ideal temp for the refrigerator is 34 to 38 degrees... Of course, it will be warmer at the top than the bottom. It will also be warmer during the day when it is being opened rather than at night when it is kept closed.
I keep mine as cold as possible without putting ice crystals in the food... It takes forever for something to thaw in it, but I don't have much spoilage in it...
It will depend on whether your leg is bone-in or boneless as well. I don't remember now which takes longer to thaw, but I think bone-in takes longer to thaw as well as to cook...
When I get a turkey out to thaw, I have to leave it on the counter until it is pretty soft in the breast and legs (1-1&1/2 days), then put it in the frig. to hold until I'm ready to cook it. There are usually still ice crystals in the cavity when I open it up...
Huh, my Frigerator says 41. And I turned it to that setting because things were starting to freeze in it. So.... Maybe it's wrong. It has a digital read out on the front. Anyways. Yeah, no bone. I'll do an experiment this time and tell you all how long it takes.
