Watermelon Salad
2 envelopes unflavored gelatin 2 cups watermelon juice 1 1/2 cups white grape juice 1 tsp shredded lemon peel 1 1/2 cups chopped fruit like peaches, pears, nectarines, green grapes 1/3 cup feta cheese optional garnish mint leaves optional garnish
dump gelatine into water melon juice in a sauce pan, let sit 5 minutes cook slowly to dissolve gelatin, add grape juice and lemon peel. Let cool. Add half to a 2 quart baking dish and refrigerat 90 minutes. Add fruit and then the rest from the sauce pan. Refrigerate 90 minutes. Garnish with feta and mint if desired.
Hmm ,I wonder, tequila?

Welll I looked and unflavored gelatin seems to be an avoid for all except O's. Another recipe where everthing is a superfood except one avoid. Still better than SAD for sure. |

Thanks for the recipe GCG, that sounds delicious! Have to try it.  I'd suggest subbing agar-agar for the unflavored gelatin, but it's not much better--only a neutral for all secretors and an avoid for everyone else. So you might as well stick with the gelatin. |
