lamb be good for?

I started to unthaw a package last night, and I think it's pretty much done unthawing.  I was going to make it tonight, but my Mom gave us some roast lamb and I wasn't expecting it.  And tomorrow is Panera night for us.  So, Is Saturday night OK?  That's basically 3 days.  Maybe a hair more or less.

Notice it says "a couple of days".....I'm thinking that means 2.

I don't know, JJR.  Maybe if your fridge is extra extra cold it will be ok.  Can you leave it in the fridge in a bowl with a bag of ice against it?

The first day does not count because it was frozen. You did thaw it in the fridge right?

You either mean thawed or unfrozen. When I read "unthawed" in the title, my initial assumption was that it was fresh meat that had never been frozen.

I'd suggest cooking the meat today or tomorrow, even if you don't plan to eat it until Saturday. Cooked meat keeps a LOT longer than  raw.

I was going to say the same thing.  Can you cook whatever you were going to cook with it and put that in the fridge until Saturday?

Oops, yeah, that didn't make sense!!!  My bad.  I cooked it tonight anyways.  So now I just have left overs.  We'll be eating lamb a little more in the next couple of days.  No biggie.  My swami says I should anyways.  Hehehehehe YUM.
