I found the "marinara" sauce recipe in the recipe base. Is there any other mock tomato sauces from anyone?? Please?

Mayflowers...if you type in No tomato sauce in Recipe Central it will give you a few sauces without tomato in it.

link worked for me    and it does look delish. will have to get the pimentos, otherwise, darn I could be cookin' that up today.          I also like that it is only for 2 servings.  The No Tomato BBQ sauce looks good as well.   I tried the No Tomato Tomato Sauce before and it wasn't for me.

Shucks.  It's got pimentos.  If somebody can come up with something that doesn't have peppers (besides that awful carrot/beet stuff), I'd be jumpin' up and down.

Black pepper doesn't bother me. (that I know of) I really don't care for bell peppers very much.

Black pepper doesn't bother me either.  I eat it occasionally because I like it, even though it has a lectin that's problematic.  It doesn't make me feel bad so I enjoy it every once in a while.

Yeah, sorry--pimentos are neutral for A Nonnies, but I happen to have a rather severe reaction to any of the nightshades (except tomatoes, which is just a not-very-severe reaction, and only if I eat them more than once in a blue moon).
