I know someone was trying to make brownies.. Well I think this tastes like brownies.

  Chocolate Almond Cake
It really tastes better then flour cake.

1 cup of semi sweet morsels (use 100% if you can find them)
3/4 stick of butter (ghee will make a good sub.)
  2 Eggs
1 1/2 cups almond meal (At Trader Joes)
1/3 cup of sugar (I know some of you can't have this so use something else)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Grease an 8" round cake tin.
Melt butter and chips over the stove ( careful it burns easily)
Beat eggs and sugar till thick and pale  I timed it to 6 mins( this is what will make the cake rise).
FOLD chocolate/butter and almond meal into the egg mixture.
Bake for 25 minutes. Cool 10 minutes in the pan.

It is a bit crumbly, but you won't care. I guess you could add some compliant flour to help bind it better.
Cover it with foil or you will eat the whole thing!

My kids 15 and 18 really liked it. It will make a great birthday cake.

Let me know how it goes.
