Are Brewers yeast and Nutitional yeast the same thng?
I don't think so but  my WH did not know what I was talking about when I asked for Nutitional yeast.

Technically not the same...But really they are if you get me.

"Brewers Yeast" {A blend of Saccharomyces cerevisiae & other species} is supposed to be the yeast leftover from brewing {Trub or Spent Yeast}.
"Nutritional Yeast" {S. cerevisiae} is cultured specifically for you guessed it...

There are thousands of strains of either type - So to really know what you have, you need the profile of the actual strain you are considering...Even with comparing same strains, depending on the substrate of its culture, you will produce different results in the profile.
