Not sure where you live in Ontario, but I live just north of Toronto. I am fortunate to have 2 great health food stores close by but now I'm seeing more and more items in the regular grocery stores. Some of the stores have a separate aisle for these products while others integrate these items into the regular aisles.

Nature's Path makes a few cereals that are great for A's and you can check the frozen  food section for Ezekiel bread and tortilla's.

deedee. Where you live in Ontario would be of intrest here. Possibly someone on the board lives near you and can point out some sources. I live in Kitchner and have more sources than I know what to do with, its just a matter of looking around a little. Always a market for quality products.

Doing a web search or persuing Google for hfs proprietors or internet-based companies that ship health food items is an option.

Yeppers dee dee...as mentioned above...it will depend in Ontario where you live and if you are close to a good Health Food Store or even a Whole Foods.    If you are near the bigger cities (Toronto/Ottawa) you can always check out Chinatown or other ethnic groups, etc.  Also, in alot of the bigger chain grocery stores they have an International section.   Just keep checking and asking and...remember to always check your labels.

Check the local health food store for magazines. Some of those have lists of organic  farms (for pick your own) / stores / co-ops / markets.
North & East of Toronto I have found a small business that will deliver organic food to the door. I like the meats and fresh fruit / vegetables.  Some of the meat is from his farm.  He has a website from where I can order. It probably will not show up on the top 10,000 results of a web search because it is small and is not well known.

It will take some time, but they are just waiting to be discovered.

Good luck with it.

Hugs
Andrew

Deedee, what exactly are you looking for?

Granted, I'm an O, but I still shop for some things at Safeway, Sobey's, Real Cdn Superstore, and even Costco. (I'm not at the point where I buy only organic, and I can't give up my turkey bacon or my turkey kulbassa). I also have three hfs I shop at.

I'd think we can better help you if we knew what you're having a hard time finding...
