I recently made my own jelly for my almond butter by boiling organic figs, prunes and apricots until very soft.  Then, I mash it very well with a fork & let it cool.  I spread it on anything that I want jelly on.  I like it.  Perhaps you will too.

I just do not boil the dried fruit....I simply soak them in green tea during the night. next morning, just blend with the handmixer. voila!

IB...I make small batches so it doesn't last very long...just enough for a few days at a time.  I've never kept it longer than that.
