Yummy!  Red peppers may be an avoid for you if you are an A secretor.  Do you burp from red peppers?

red peppers according to typebase are avoids for me and HB for Eliana
pimentos are neutral for me and Eliana

not sure what the difference is.  No I burp from milk and pop only.

the veggies came mixed together in a bag from the freezer section and it read red peppers on the bag.

But I do know the beef makes me feel awful awful awful.  I had a couple bites the other day.  And now I remember why I quit eating it in 1998.

Pimentos are a great pepper substitute for A secretors.  They're easy to find in a jar--just watch for any hidden avoids.  Fresh pimentos are even better if available.

Thanks!  So there seems to be a small difference not that I know what it really is.  I'll have to ask at the store next time I go.

I've never been able to find fresh pimiento (not that I look every time, mind you). I have found it in a jar, and have some in the pantry, but have honestly never tried it. I don't really care for peppers in a cooked form (unless it's green chile). I prefer them raw.

I love yellow, orange peppers cooked.  And so so on red peppers at all.  I think I've seen pimento in the jar.

Fresh pimentos are more rare.  This past summer I was buying these funny shaped little red bell peppers with a sweet, delicate flavor.  Turns out they were pimentos.  I haven't seen them around since then.

Normal day, let me be aware of the treasure you are.
