would the powder be the same as what's in the capsules that you'd use for supplements? i'm making the meatloaf from the CR book and it calls for 2 T kelp powder. I have some kelp supps - in 1 capsule it contains: 390 mg. iron 400 mg. iodine 20 mg. sodium 660 mg. kelp |

well, as far as the kelp goes, it turned out fine. DH just didnt like the meat choice for his meatloaf. that's okay tho, he's making a BIG change in his diet and I give him big kudos for even trying. HE has had to make more major changes than did I. So on w/ the experimenting. |

I want to make that recipe too. I got some Atlantic Kelp powder at the health food store, but it says DO NOT USE more than 1/16th of a teaspoon per day, and the recipe calls for 2 Tbsp, and only serves 4! Should I look for a different type of kelp powder? |
