Ghee-licious Rice Cakes!

New in Personalized Living Webzine:

Quoted Text
I have to admit, sometimes munching on a plain rice cake can be like chewing on cardboard.  This recipe takes the lowly rice cake to new heights.

Yum~!   Going to try this

I like to spread ghee and sprinkle sea salt on a rice cake and put it in the oven to get it lightly toasted.... you can fool yourself into believing you're eating buttered popcorn...

I may have to try this, thanks. I found the rice cakes sucked moisture from my stomach/small intestine, so stopped them, but I would like to use them again.
I used to put tahini on them, then rice syrup.  But GT Hunter, or people low in enzymes should not really eat rice syrup.  And right now, my pancreas is not doing so well, which includes the fats, including tahini. I will keep this in mind though as I miss the rice cakes! It makes me strive to get things better so I can try this recipe! I like the idea of lightly toasting in the oven too, thankyou Chloe.

The charade can go a step further: Toast the plain rice cakes, then break them up into "kernels", into a big bowl. Toss with melted ghee and sea salt.
Park yourself in front of a movie.
Chomp away.
