When I read about making green tea in the article
7 Benefits of Drinking Green Tea

http://northamericanpharmacal.com/living/2013/10/7-benefits-of-drinking-green-tea/
of 5 October 2013

it made me wonder why brewing should take 45 seconds at the longest. I understand the cause is to avoid the toxins in green tea.

thank you Yaeli this is a very interesting issue for me (i love green tea).

so i have two questions:

i wonder if drinking matcha is as i actually drink more green tea than drinking only an infusion of green tea   because in the first case of course i "eat" the leaves also.(then instead of 4 cups a day i have to decrease the amount..)

does a cup of matcha contains more polyphenols (tannins) of a green tea's infusion cup?

i noticed that while a cup of matcha gives me a boots of energy, a green tea infusion on the other hand does the opposite, mostly when i drink it hot.
in the last case is almost as my pressure goes under the feet so to speak, very low indeed.

I find green tea gets bitter if brewed too long.  Mr Ituri's tea is supposed to be pale green and that's
the way mine turns out....I probably brew it for 30-40 seconds. Has a delicious flavor.

I have used to drink at least 4 glasses... I'll make it 3-4 glasses at most, brewed as directed, no longer than 45 seconds.
