Someone once told me that the hardest part of your workout was putting your sneakers on.  Her rationale being that once you were up off the couch and dressed, you would be more motivated to get to the gym. But what if your sneakers don’t feel so good.  Ill-fitting shoes will surely hamper your workout – here are a few tips to make sure that your first step (and second, and third!) will feel fabulous!

MIfHI                            I follow a SWAMI diet.

How timely!  I just ordered 4 pairs from Amazon this week.  There is no shoe store nearby that carries shoes narrow enough to fit me.  Amazon has free shipping and free returns on shoes that they actually stock, for which I am grateful.

One pair actually fit properly and was well padded and really comfortable.  With my narrow feet and the strange way I throw my right foot when I walk, finding even one new pair of shoes that does fit properly is a cause for celebration.

Yes, I've bought shoes in the past that didn't fit quite right but looked nice.  Too old for that nonsense now.  It's COMFORT time!

6 years on ER BTD, went from sick and dying to healthier And 30 pounds slimmer.  THEN:
Dec 2013: Started Swami Xpress - I'm 48% Explorer with hybridized Explorer/BTD list. A new adventure for this old lady!  -- LOST 5 more pounds on SWAMI!
