Finally, got around to making this last night. Incorporating Yaeli's idea about using a blender, I combined all the ingredients (home made almond milk, turmeric, nutmeg, cinnamon, cardamom, honey, fresh ginger and a pinch of salt) in the blender jug and blitzed for a minute or two before warming it on the stove.
Wow, it was a real delight just before bed. Very calming and made my whole body feel good. I did toss and turn in the night and had some night sweats so I wonder if there was some sort of cleansing/realignment going on? I do have these ingredients individually (sometimes combining one or two) in other dishes, but never all at the same time so......
