Should the hunter diet focus more on protein rather than fats?  I've started to eat a lot more eggs and meats which I know contain fat, but I've also started to add a lot more butter to my food. I was wondering if this is a good idea.

Another thing.. I'm a little lost as what to eat after a workout, especially as I'm not able to have cottage cheese, yogurt or whey protein anymore.

My husband who is the Hunter does well with all of the meat and fats he consumes. He loves butter, always has eaten plenty of it and his cholesterol is fine. Mind you, we do eat lean beef as per Dr. D'Adamo's advice. He also eats "nut cereal" that he makes himself the night before and pour boiling water on it and lets it sit overnight with a lid on. Has it the next day for breakfast. He has this 5X weekly.

I'd say both are needed, protein for so many reasons and to keep blood sugar stable.  Ghee is great, so is a drizzle of olive oil on veggies or on top of soup.
Can stir-fry veg in sesame oil.
If you are ok with butter, then in moderation is ok.  If your cholesterol levels are fine from tests by your medical doctor, then I would not worry. that means your organs and glands are strong and handling the fats.
Remember about the vegetables, meat and fat does not have fibre, nor other nutrients which I get mainly from veg, nuts/seeds, small amounts of fruit.
Post workout, depends on when you do your workout, whether you do it at home or at the gym,  and when you have your main meals......I'd stick with some seeds or nuts, maybe some fresh carrot / celery juice.  Or even a small amount of fish, like salmon, mackeral, sardine??

I'm a beginner here, but so far it seems to me that the macros are less important than getting a variety of superfoods from different food groups. Rather than focusing on fat or protein, I suggest you try to eat a wide range of foods.
