I've finished the work of my genotype data.  Yet, have not secured my secretor status. I am confused.  Strength testing points me to the Explorer, score of 11. Warrior with a 9.  Because of dental work I could not count the extra points that could've produced a Warrior 12. I AM A TASTER.     Initially, I was also looking at two other genotypes, that were ruled out, gatherer, nomad.   However, out of curiosity I tested myself for Nomad, I came up with a score of 21 and quite possibly 24. (regarding the dentistry).  How is this possible,  could I be a nomad even when that category was ruled out?  When the blood typing is known, that's it, Right? I just have to go with explorer. My scores between warrior and explorer are close.     How could the strength meter point me to Nomad?        pamma

Since you're an A, you can only be a Teacher, Warrior, or Explorer. You can rule out Gatherer and Nomad based on your blood type alone.

All of us are unique, and show SOME signs of various genotypes. Warriors and Nomads do share a lot of physical characteristics, but their diets are vastly different.

Your best bet is to see what the Advanced Calculator in the back of the book says about you. Oftentimes, that will clarify the genotype, no matter what the strength testing says. However, some people fall right on the border and need the secretor results to be certain- and in that case, the strength testing can help you narrow it down.

It does not matter if you have scored all points possible for a nomad, people that are type A cannot be nomads.  So you totally ignore the nomad category regardless of the points.

Is your torso longer than your legs?
Is your upper leg longer than your lower leg?
Are your index fingers longer than your ring fingers?

torso is longer than legs
lower leg is longer than upper leg
both index fingers are longer than my ring fingers.
My husband helped me with all of the figuring.

I did lean towards thinking that,  I needed to stay with the categories pointing towards me.  But, I'm known to have a tendency to misunderstand things easily,  and it did seem bizarre to me.  I was shocked, that's all. Well, the secretor test is next!   I'm ready.

So once again,  thanks to everybody and such quick responses!  WOW!  You are ALL so special!     pamma

Taking a look at the chart on page 292 of "Change your Genetic Destiny" it looks like you're a Warrior if you're Rh+ no matter what your secretor status, and if you're rh-, then you're a Warrior if you're a secretor and an Explorer if you're a nonnie (non-secretor.)

I suggest you follow the type A diet while waiting for secretor results.

Yes, that's my plan and you know, even the A diet IS doing me much good. I've so much more energy, and sleep better at night.  Stress levels are rolling kinda high. My parents are needing me more now than ever. The feeling of being "overwhelmed" is with me often.  Trying hard to focus, breathe, and keep the right attitude.    I'm selfish by nature... I'm working on that…I plan to order the secretor test kit tomorrow (Friday morning).

Way to go, Pamma!  I love your determination.

A suggestion for feeling overwhelmed:  the Bach Flower Remedy, Elm.  A couple of drops in every glass of water or tea you drink will work wonders.
