It is great to find out that the reason I get sick ALL the time is because my immune system is too tolerant, but how do I help that? Is there a way to minimise the amount of times I get sick, because it's starting to get quite frustrating, and now that I am not at school and working it is even more important for me to be well, there are only so many sick days you can take. Will following my teacher swami diet help as well? I only just started it a week ago and just got sick again so I guess it may take a while for my body to heal. I used to just think my immune system was weak, but now I know better. So I suppose you just have to activate it somehow?

Eating a very high percentage of beneficial foods will have a medicinal effect on your body.  Yes, the body will heal which may mimic illnesses (called a healing crisis) as you progress with this lifestyle.  It is possible that you may need some help from some of the protocols as you proceed...

Gazelle, I spent my entire life in the same boat. Before BTD a few yers ago, It never even occured to me that my reactions were not only an anomaly of the general population, but an anomaly of my own true constitution. Congratulations on discovering this early in life. Eat right for your (Geno) type, and many of these chronic immune reactions will diminish. You'll be healing and rebuilding your vitality potential so expect some noticeable responses in the beginning.

Gazelle,
I am sorry you seem to be sick so often. I believe that if you follow your swami as closely as possible you will improve greatly in the long run! Just give it a bit of time. Imagine ( practicing yoga helps with this) in your mind how good you will be feeling soon!
Maybe I should be thankful that, as an A, I am against type...my swami said I was a reactor! I have have had sinus issues but I never get sick!

Black and green tea, and black coffee can energize the immune system. And balance more intense and gentle exercises to stay in good shape.

What kind of sick? A tolerant immune system will mean not being sick from ignoring something (tolerating it) as being sick. Our reactions to invaders are often vastly worse than just living with them or slowly killing them off. That's a benefit of a tolerant immune system, to live with something that isn't really a problem.

That being said, stress can let you be sick more often. Bad gut flora may as well. But just for interest if you were say an explorer you might need more omega 3's and liver clean up; with a dissociation from stress as a predominate factor unless it's a pull your hair out, screaming, freak out stress from stuff like being at war would cause.

Anywhich way it's likely you'll feel better by avoiding wheat, red meat (maybe some lamb), certain beans, sugar, lots of bad oils, certain fruit, etc and then consuming good stuff like brown rice, fish, veggies, and spices like turmeric.
