Brown rice speeds things up for me, but white rice is like cement! I find it hard to believe that in our suppposedly enlightened educated country, I didn't know about brown rice till I was in my 20s!
Beans don't work that well for me, but with brown rice, they do. (Since beans absorb toxins, maybe they were sitting there absorbing toxins from my intestines, not moving too fast!)
Did you eat white or brown rice? I do believe that even some fiber foods may not work for some people. We are all so individual!
