I would be interested to know how other Hunters get on with eating Fruit. I've hardly touched any for nearly a week and my stomach feels alot tighter. Usually I love eating blueberrys, bananas and apples, but was wondering if I do alot better without the sugar within the fruit.

Anyone else have a similar story?
I seem to do fine on it and love it! But the Swami dude says on the apples for me... Cheers!
If you keep doing what you've always done, and you keep getting what you've aways got, perhaps it's time for a change...

I'm a Gatherer and I only get 1/2 cup of fruit per day. I also don't get apples at all. I know that a lot of people have trouble tolerating bananas. Blueberries tend to be better tolerated, though of course any food is a possible allergen.
I wonder if you'd do fine on fruit if you selected different fruits. If you turn out to be a non-secretor, then it's likely apples would fall off the "good" list.

i recently stopped eating fruit - besides a banana with breakfast - and i've definitely noticed some gut shrinkage. i know sugar is not the best fuel for me.
No apples for me! Black dot. I am an O nonnie Explorer, formerly a Hunter, with a lot of Hunterly qualities. Dried pineapple cures my fruit cravings, especially in winter. Weird because it tastes acidic in a way that seems as if it should bother my stomach, but it never does. I usually eat it as snack. Blueberries are fine (neutral). Would be sad to lose them to swami, as I have prolific blueberry bushes in my garden.
The sun, with all those planets around it and dependent on it, can still ripen a bunch of grapes as if it had nothing else in the universe to do.

Apples are ok for me unless something has changed on my Swami in the last couple of weeks! I'll have to go check.. but Pineapple is a wonderful thing to grab and snack on when I get cravings or I am hungry before dinner and have that awful knowledge that I waited to long to get dinner going!

I have problems with sugar and fruit; I think the worst reactions are from dates, dried figs, other dried fruits (more sugars in dried fruits). I noticed that by eating protein and fat after the fruit, I am better. In the book, Conscious Eating by Gabriel Cousens M.D., he talks about fast oxidisers (people with fast metabolism I think) and how different proportions of fat, protein and carbs can make a difference. I would keep on with bananas, and berries (esp blueberies, goji and acai). If you are 'hunter' or part hunter, then maybe low fructose fruits like pineapple, passionfruit or grapefruit may work for a while too, have protein and fat (olive oil, ghee, butter) at some time. This may help. also, I now just have fruit mostly at breakfast, followed by eggs or some other protein, am still refining my diet. some walnuts or macadamias, chia seeds can help as adds fat and protein. these nuts/sees good as have omega-3 fats, so good.
I'm actually an explorogatherhunt! 42% Exp 40% Gath and 18% Hunt but my Swami sensei say black belt dot to apples;)
I am happy to announce that although I have recently lost my beloved sweet potatoes to a black dot, Tomatoes have come back into my life as a neutral.
You are just an explorer. You don't have the weight issues of a Gatherer; and you don't have the depression or massive allergies of the Hunter do you? I know healthy hunters that have neither, but they exercise and eat meat. The last thing they do is come to these forums because they don't really have problems.
