Sophia: "Actually, it turned out OK. The stuff tasted great, so Salvadore decided to market it. At first, things didn't go so well. Ear Salve on Pasta wasn't very appetizing. But once he changed the name to pesto sauce, it sold like hot cakes!"

Dorothy: "Ma, you're making this up!"

Sophia: "So what? I'm old, I'm supposed to be colorful."

...yet, what goes into 'animal' comes out.  The old time animals where eating foods they knew to be good for them... Today we inject all sort of stuff into animals and humans.. so what comes out may no longer be the 'cure' ..

There has to be a better way of selling anything, rather then 'promotion' of Nazi findings/unless the actual research text is to be shown.  It is sad to see what some people hang onto, or create a cult around cruelty and inhuman experimentation and then call it science.

My guess is that the "cure" was fist discovered by a young child or a mentally deficient adult (with the mentality of a small child) who ate the dung (after being told not to) and, when doing so after starting to get dysentery, everybody was surprised at the speedy recovery. Then it became well known as a cure and its origins forgotten.

Who here would not eat steaming camel dung to avoid dying of dysentery?
