Buffalo (bison) are diamonds for myself (gatherer) and WH (hunter) and BD (explorer) said it was also for her. This is by our swami(s) But we are all O's. If your exploerer is an O then would seem to be a good choice. Not sure about a B or A type
Since it's not listed in the book it would be counted at least as neutral. |

Wild guess! I would think that if you can eat beef & other large mammals, you could eat buffalo.
If you are very compliant & then ate it, you probably would know if it were OK by reactions or lack thereof! |

I'm asking on behalf of my husband, who is an A, but we have him typed as an Explorer per genotype diet book. He is not ready for SWAMI yet. I know its an avoid for him as an A non-secretor, but didn't know if being an explorer changed that. Thanks everyone! |

My guess is to avoid it as an A, until he gets swami. it will tell you for sure.

I'd follow the guidelines for beef, in the absence of a specific entry for buffalo. In the Explorer Diet in the book, that would be neutral.
Just have him watch his body for reactions to the buffalo. If he doesn't tolerate it well, he shouldn't have it often or he should cut it out altogether. |
