Why eat the sinfully high-priced commercial junk when we can indulge so deliciously in something completely compliant?! Are we really just a bunch of kids, or what!?! Are people simply boooooored?! Well, I'm not and don't gimme no ice cream just because it is summertime!    And, look, 2degrees has given us another way to splurge!!

I chose HD "5" because I saw Jane (from Boston) posted about the fact it only had 5 decent ingredients. I had the coffee flavor and it was delicious but my stomach ached afterward! (Pre-BTD I consumed alot of cow dairy, especially cream and cheese)

I love berries and almond milk so I will give that a try!

If you say the pineapple tasted creamy I will trust you and try it also.

Like I said, I could have eaten a whole pint of this pineapple "ice cream!" And I can have it every day if I want!! Not a whole pint, of course!

I dunno if this has been said, but Haagan-Dazs, makes a wonderful sorbet, that has the texture of ice-cream and is not terribly bad for you!

If it's So Delicious brand, then it's the exact same one I can easily get locally. It has carageenan in it and it totally  wrecked my digestion when I had it for my 39th  birthday. I don't normally get GI upset, but I was in PAIN from eating that stuff. It totally wasn't worth it.

That flavor at least is free of corn syrup, which isnt' the case  for some of the other flavors. http://www.haagen-dazs.com/ingredients/ingredient.aspx?id=3&name=mango&seg=fat+free+sorbet None of them are free of sugar, which is an avoid for us nonnies.

I can't tell from the website if the products are certified kosher, or if the sorbets might be pareve (suitable for eating after a meat meal.)

Thirty-six grams of sugar in one-half cup!   There are only about 18 in a regular old chocolate ice cream!!

haha, I am just weaning myself still. It's hard being a college kid with ll your friends eating ice-cream and sugar drinks, while i'm in the corner with my carrotssss. I need this to cheat sometimes, and it doesn't make me have spots

I have to congratulate you for even trying this diet   A lot of people wait until they're sick.....Being a college kid is difficult enough....and trying to control your diet on top of that when your life is about studying, socializing and often there's a lot of pizza, snacks, chips, soda, beer and foods that
are really bad for all of us, but always part of a college kid's diet.  Good job for doing the best you can do~

A little cheat won't do you in....You're probably eating a whole lot better than most of your peers~
