Well, I had already checked that for allergies, so I guess I just have to be patient! But any allergies I have had are a whole lot better than they were. |

Might be good to call D'Adamo personalized Nutrition and let them know what boxes you checked on your SWAMI they can guide you to the right supplements. Ask for Nancy-- tell her Andrea sent you. Sounds like you need some deflect for starters. |

Thank you doctor! I just checked autoimmunity on my SWAMI.
THAT is a great Idea.. I will do that also.. can not hurt.. Thanks.. I would not have made that -connection from what Dr D said.. good for you.. (and me) ...... I just checked and found that I had checked it already, but I discovered some genharmonic foods that will help that greatly.. I will focus on them.. |

You still have some sort of unresolved autoimmune issue.
Good to know. I think all of us can use that insight. |

I got totally free of white lines after I started on the GENO diet after several months. But when I started eating Greek yogurt three times a day and more Ezekiel bread, mine came back, though not as bad as before. They are gradually disappearing again since I don't eat gluten at all and certainly no Greek yogurt anymore! |

I started GTD in spring 2011; my fingerprints where difficult to read because of all the white lines. Seven months later I redid fingerprints to see if there had been an improvement and my husband said they looked 70% improved and some of my fingerprint were easier to read and so my fingerprints now presented the asymmetrical pattern of the Explorer. I appeared symmetrical when they had not been read properly due to interference from the lines and ridges. If your fingerprints improve, you may well be surprised that the pattern is not what you initially thought. Intrinsia is a very important factor along with the Deflect and Polyflora and of course no gluten. I tried going off of Intrinsia for a few weeks and my intestines were not as relaxed. It is such a soothing supplement for the gastro-intestinal system. |

TJ I am not sure that it matters which kind-- they would more or less be treated the same with the shift in foods. |

My concern is that, at this point, diet isn't enough alone. I'm getting some help from the integrative medicine MD I'm seeing, but I still don't know for sure what's at the root of it. I think that, for any of us who have been doing BTD/GTD for years and still have white lines/leaky gut, more will be required than just changing what we eat. |

Using the SWAMI professional version is really what I am talking about. Understanding the controls that it applies to the diet would be key. Spending the money on just seeing Dr. D'Adamo and allowing him to create a plan if someone is struggling to me is the greatest gift one can give one self. I have seen practitioners give loads of supplements and never really fix anything. And I have seen Dr. D tell people that all the stuff they are taking is a waste. I still think that the diet is the key. |

I still have a few, though mostly vertical ones now, those can be caused by hormone imbalances.
I surely also have autoimmunity, and feel best on a hunteresque diet. I'm not totally sure of my secretor status, as my blood test disagreed with my saliva test, and I'm waiting for another saliva test to come in to see what it says.
Could be another digestive intolerance? Milk, eggs, yeast ... There are a few to check. Even candida can cause similar problems to gluten. |

TJ, have you tried NMT? It is helping me quite a bit. |

Melissa, what is NMT? I figure that those digestive intolerances you mentioned are more likely an effect of leaky gut rather than a cause, unless you have a true allergy(?). |

Am trying to figure out my genotype using the book. Measuring torso as longer then legs and upper longer then lower .Both index fingers longer then right (longer on left then right). Very ecto body type. Was wondering what is most important, though must be torso and leg ratio as that is what key uses. waist to hip ratio is about .73. Tendons are very pronouned as are veins in hands and arms. Had thought was O+ blood type, but a brother just told me he is AB+ and thought Mom was O+, so might check again. Tried finger prints but have such shallow prints and so many lines very difficult to make out. Water and oil seems to help make more defined. When went for a finerprint test for a job at a school district, it took them 3 tries to get my prints. If do the basic search it sounds like could be a gaterer, teacher, explorer, or warrior. so added up strength test: teacher- 24 ,gatherer-5,explorer-17,nomad-19,(hunter-25) this is confusing to try to find out, but interesting. Lynn D. Welcome and you need to find out your blood type, it will narrow your choices. If your brother is an AB then your mother was not an O. |

Thank you for the welcome! I was told I was an O+, so might go on that assumption till do a test. If my father was AB and mother was O then I would be also AB? Will look thru her last records from heart hospital and check with other brother.
