unfortunately some sites recommend them, but since they are rarely actually eaten whole and mostly eaten as or made into jams and juices since they do not keep well.

some of those same sites even recommend blackcurrant juice which is ridiculous as they have added sugar at best and added fructose at worst.

If FM or whatever is an issue wouldn't eat them for a year put it like that. and when i did eat them it would only be fresh and in season, which is late summer here.

I remember in my studies that there is even a green version but since it is the sweetest (i think) it is likely to be higher in either fructose or sorbitol.

none of the above should be confused with raisins by the way.

remember also that it might be due to the ratio of things to glucose. it's not just about fructose or other fodmap but also the ratio to glucose.

hence you should eat small amount of fruits and leave long times between another portion, actually the same with vegetables it all about the LOAD your tummy can take before it starts to not absorb the fructose, which will then go through you and cause problems with bacteria.

so anything that breakdown faster is out, like juice etc. which cause other problems anyway. god I could go on all night lol

I'll stop boring you

Signs of toxicity in Type O's(of polyamines, that is)
1. Excess inflammation, such as joint problems and pains of nonspecific nature, such as fibromyalgia; menstrual difficulties.
2. Difficulties losing weight, excess water retention (especially in Type O non-secretors)
3. Bowl problems: cramping, flatulence, and elimination difficulties
4. Fatigue, mental hyperactivity
5. Carbohydrate intolerance. Fatigue and "spacing out" after high-carb meals
6. High triglycerides.
This is straight out of Dr. D's Live Right 4 Your Type
Numerous studies have been done about the connection between mycotoxins and polyamines.
This is what this thread was all about

Foods etc. that Dr. D. recommends for this heinous problem:

ARA6, Walnuts,
Green Tea, Dark Blue, Purple or Red Pigmented Fruits
Pomegranates, Plantains and Guava
Onions, Dill, Tarragon, Broccoli Leaves and Garlic
Curcumin and Turmeric
These are usable by all blood types, except plantains should be avoided by Types A and O.

No doubt there are other supplements that Dr. D. would recommend since he wrote Live Right For Your Type. And maybe even a lot of foods. But some things don't change!
