I tend to have a chronic cough, especially when I have to talk on the phone for a long time.

It's slightly annoying and probably uncomfortable to the person on the other line. I have to constantly clear my throat in order to speak clearly.

I was thinking about eating honey, but it's a SWAMI neutral so I'm not sure whether it will benefit my throat.

NAC did not help my throat. MSM just helps my sinuses but not my throat.

My brother has a bad chronic cough ; He is A a sure hidden celiac and has some milk as he is not into DR D books and ideas, his esophagus has basic reflux from the valve with the stomach which cannot close at all or properly.  I 'd wish he could be gluten  free and milk free for some months, to say there is no way out of this for him, but he want not , so drugs....

Milk and gluten are very bad also for Os so hope it helps

I take the Collinsonia somewhat regularly (one per day) and get fine results that way.
I take Redoxa more on an 'as needed' basis and at those times, will take at least 2 x day until symptoms abate.

Stinging Nettle and MSM really helped me.  It was a very noticeable change in the amount of mucus I was producing and coughing up from when I wasn't taking them to when I did.

Redoxa has helped the dry scratchy throat feeling as I continue to recover from my symptoms....what I believe has been viral-sensitive asthma.

This might sound overly simplistic, but make sure you're properly hydrated. Keep a glass or bottle of water (or another compliant beverage) handy when talking on the phone. Taking frequent small sips may keep your mouth moist enough to keep the coughing at bay.

I use Yogi Tea "Throat Comfort" with a LOT of honey in it for times when I have to vocalise for extended periods of time and it has never failed me.
