Lentils help the liver cleanse its own blood supply before it is put back into circulation!

That explains the cycling toxin remark in the Explorer monograph.  The cleansing organ must also self-cleanse.  Lightbulb moment.

Seeing as this has resurfaced, am interested in how TJ went with the lentils?! Personally, despite wanting to try them, I have found I'm really reactionary to fructans/galactans & do so much better without lentils, chickpeas, red kidney beans etc, as they are significant dietary sources of galactans...
