Yeah I know I left out the secreter status for warriors but it seems a bit less important and the poll does not allow for enough.

Very few poll results at this point, but what there are make me wonder if being a nonnie super taster is a factor in winding up in the "Explorer" category?

OK - I know that everything is a factor.  Just wondered if the taster status is maybe a stronger factor than some other things?

It would be great if a hundred or more people took this poll, just to see the results.

6 years on ER BTD, went from sick and dying to healthier And 30 pounds slimmer.

Dec 2013: Started Swami Xpress - I'm 48% Explorer with hybridized Explorer/BTD list. A new adventure for this old lady!  -- LOST 5 more pounds on SWAMI!

Wondering the same thing. I'm a supertaster nonnie Warrior with some strong Explorer tendencies such as sensitivities to environmental changes. My thoughts are that heightened taster status is linked to the same survival instincts as situational awareness and alert cues.

Years ago, I worked with autistic children, and noticed their pronounced, almost violent reaction to certain foods. Like super, supertasters. They would put, say, a green bean in their mouth, and then quickly rip it out as if assulted. Strangely, sight and smell were often not enough to trigger the response. The same foods would illicit the same response night after night. Of course Infants do this as well, but learn quickly to protest.

Sorry if this is off topic but just wondering if anyone has the same experience or can give me advice...
I have tried both Prop & PTC strips with the same result, I don't really taste anything at first but about 30-60 mins later i get the worst taste & feeling in my mouth (overpowering sort of taste like after eating some epsom salts)

My husband is a warrior/taster. I'm not really clear on how you determine taster vs super taster, though

I am a non secretor and used to gag eating vegatables when i was a kid!  Now i developed a taste for a lot of them.  Mushrooms still gag me.  Prob a taster, wouldn't say super taster.  My sense of smell is prob. my weakest sense, but my sister one time smelled my dad opening a can of peanuts from upstairs!!!!

I would say my eyesight and catching movement is my best sense, like seeing a roach in my peripherals if it moves, and my tactile sense.
