I've been putsing through this thread as time permits, but I have a couple of questions. Admittedly I don't have the book yet, but I will get it. 1) Is it typical that Warriors are off of coffee? Or is it just because I said I was caffeine sensitive? 2) What is Warrior exercise supposed to be like? Thanks- I promise to read the book! |

My Ma and I are both Warriors and we love coffee. But, we both only have one cup in the morning, early, then wait half and hour, then eat. (No, I don't live with her, I just know this about her) I am not caffeine sensitive, but rather caffeine addictive. I actually build up a tolerance to caffeine and need more just to get me going in the morning. Now, yes, if I've gone off coffee for a week, then drink a cup, I'm spazzing out. But, I build up a tolerance quickly. Is this true of you as well? You are an A, so coffee is good for you on the blood type diet (BTD), and ok for Warriors on the genotype diet (GTD). Exercise should be light weights, walking, swimming, light hiking, tennis, 9 holes golf walking the course. Not heavy weights and running like Explorers. We should exercise nearly every day (4 days/week minimum I think) with some kind of cardio-based exercise for 30 to 40 minutes. Also, stretch before and after for 5 minutes. Meditation is also very helpful. Get the book! |

That's great! I love coffee. I am sensitive to caffeine, but only larger amounts and I'm happy to switch to decaf later in the day. If I want more at all. I was happy as a coffee drinking A. Then SWAMI took it away, so I guess it is because I said I am caffeine sensitive. The exercise feels perfect! I could never do like an A~ stand still and breathe deep. lol. Reach up an arm. I gotta move it!!! Thanks Adam. |

Hmm. I guess a Warrior is a Warrior is a Warrior.. I would have thought you got a little more meat than me because of the B-ness. Do you get lamb? I can have veal once a week if I want. I can also have duck, cornish hen, (black dots) emu, caribou, kangaroo...
Wait, hold it- is a black dot a good thing? I thought it must be a super-avoid. Also, is Rockfish on the Warrior list? It isn't in the typebase, but I love it; it tastes like red snapper. I need to know cuz we have it around here. |

a black dot item is an item to be avoided for 3-6 months while the genes are reset - then to be treated as an occasional neutral as long as it doesn't cause weight gain or other problem... Paraphrased from GTD book... Rockfish isn't specifically listed for any Genotype - good or bad... Is it known by some other name, or a relative to something else? |

Yes, it is that on my swami. But it is Rockfish in my kitchen. Thus the question. |

According to this information, some Rockfish species are misnamed Bass and others Red Snapper... http://www.adfg.state.ak.us/pubs/notebook/fish/rockfish.phpSince we aren't sure whether the Rockfish was rated, I would assume Neutral rating. |

BTW, coffee is a super beneficial for me..
Warrior exercise should be yoga, tai chi, qi gong, pilates...walking is ok or swimming..Nothing too strenuous. I love oxycise..it doesn't kick the patooti out of me... |

I'm a coffee drinker, and coffee is a diamond for me, too. I do limit the amount, though. I wouldn't call myself caffeine sensitive, though if I drink any caffeine after noon, I'll be up late. |

Tai Chi is WAY too stressful for me. Try balancing on one foot for about 5 minutes. Go on...I'm waiting...see what I mean? |

I got myself some coffee after a time without it; since I did my swami. And guess what. Cracks in my hands again. I totally forgot that my hands got smooth when I went off coffee. So back off coffee for another trial. I ate away from home as carefully as I could today, but there could have been an ingredient in the ginger dressing I had that didn't work for me. Everything else was a super or diamond. It could be coffee. Oh well. |

Hmmm. Despite being busy yesterday and eating less food because of it, I gained a pound back. Everything was compliant unless there was a wrong ingredient in the ginger dressing or apple flax muffin and my COFFEE! I eat mostly diamonds! However, I was very sedentary yesterday. Long hours in the car and sitting in chairs here and there. I will be shocked if I learn that black coffee puts weight on me. But I'll be watching to see. |

Adam, it's only difficult initially. Practicing is what builds the core strength required to do those balancing acts. Tai Chi should never be stressful. That's why Dr. D has included it in the A BT exercise regimen. It's an anti-stress exercise. |

I also think Tennis is way too stressful, yet Dr. D used to love it. I love weights, too stressful for some Warriors. Also love challenging hiking with hilly terrain. That little Asian dude teaching Tai Chi was peeving me off big time. Guess it's each his own. |
