I am reading "Change Your Genetic Destiny" and trying to determine what I am. If I begin with my leg/torso and finger measurements, coupled with my blood type, I am an Explorer. When I look at the strength items (I was perusing all of them) I am highly Nomad-with 27 points vs 15 in the Explorer category. If it weren't for my blood type, I would be all Nomad. My siblings have type B and AB blood and I am wondering if the tendency can run in families even though I don't have one of those types? Has anyone run into a dilemma such as this?
Thanks- Lucie |

I'm an O & got more points for Nomad, too. But I knew I couldn't be one. The blood type is one of the main determinants. Many of the other things are fine tuning. If your blood type only fits in certain genotypes, you can only be those genotypes! Type O: Hunter, Gatherer, or Explorer(124) Type A: Teacher, Explorer, or Warrior(345) Type B: Gatherer(very few), Explorer, or Nomad(246) Type AB: Explorer, Teacher, Warrior, or Nomad(3456) |

Marty, use the advanced calculator in the book ONLY!!! A blood types, can t be NOmads...... no mads.....got it???? unless mixed with B like in Bs and ABs......like your siblings the nomad B they got from your B parent with a recessive O gene |

Lola, I know you're good at these.. I've read some of your posts.. I'm not mad about being a nomad..just saying i do not exactly match any of those other genotypes.. like i said i do good on dairy and animal protein diet and not very good on vegan diet.. in fact i feel terrible.. right now I'm following the nomad (B) diet which suits me alright .. anyway you said that my family has a recessive O gene but we don't have any O blood types for what I'm sure of for the last three generations.. |

Marty you can't be a Nomad, it is not possible.
If you continue with the Nomad diet you will eventually have problems. Teachers are A's and they do get quite a bit of dairy this may be what you are.
A's have three choices.. Warrior, Explorer or Teacher.
Vegan for A's? none of the diets for A's are vegan. In fact all include dairy and eggs in some form. The only one that is Vegetarian is the Warrior and I get plenty of eggs and dairy items to chose from.
Hope you reevaluate... |

I have wondered if the genotypes necessarily correlate 100 percent with blood types. Explorer's can physically be similar to nomads...both are more muscular build, have shorter lower legs, etc.
There is some overlap with all of these genotypes. I would think since the nomad is the "most recent" genotype, it would contain elements of the other ones within it.
For instance, i feel like an explorer is a hybrid blend of a gatherer and and hunter, making it something more than the sum of its parts. A nomad is probably similar in ways to an explorer, since being a nomad meant you probably explored new areas, and therefore needed similar attributes for this. But the nomad is something different altogether, more than the sum of the other five genotypes combined.
Perhaps the genotypes are not 100 percent correlated to blood types. Dr. D would know best, he spent a lot of time putting this stuff together. As an explorer writing, i would try the nomad diet if you felt like you are a nomad. But also try some A gt diets and see how you feel on em! Explore them all if you want. But be mindful of what you read in the gt book. |

Explorer is indeed more than merely a sum of the similar parts from other Genotypes! The interaction between blood type and Genotype permit us some simple typing of what people cannot be. For instance, a model with a wide jaw angle cannot be reactive or tolerant immune types. Someone who is tolerant immune type cannot be blood type O. I was having difficulty with some I hired for cleaning one of my apartments. She complained that she had a reaction to the organic waste that the tenants left in the basement (I told her not to go down there!), whereas I had a hard time with the cleaners that I used for the kitchen appliances. A good example of a reactive (xeno-sensitive) immune system vs a tolerant (bio-sensitive) immune system. I was going to offer her a bet that I could tell her which ABO blood type she is not (blood type O, as per the logic above). Unfortunately the working relationship deteriorated before I had a reasonable opportunity to bring the issue up in casual conversation. As you can see the blood type/Genotype relationship (revealed in my signature picture) is reliable enough for an enterprising individual to earn "drinking money" at a bar. |

Marty & Linda, if you want your question answered, look for Dr.D But I guess you might be Explorers. Do u know your secretor / Rh status ?
Explorer can have their very own way of eating. Like no other. They are, sorry, a bit "queer". |

I have got the same problem...scoring extremely high on Nomad on the strengthtest. but probably explorers don't even fit their own genotype. ;-P ...if I'm a secretor, I could still be a teacher though...which I'm probably not...maybe. X) |

Dr. D says they even have their own way of digesting food. I find this to be the case for me, it has been a true exploration process figuring out the ins and outs of mine for sure! I still do not fully understand it. |
