It sounds like Explorers aren't so uncommon, at least here! And I think my husband is probably one too.

Explorers, non-secretor, Lewis double-negatives are more likely to have unusual issues.

When Dr. D' Adamo put an individual, systematic approach to health out there these kinds of people hoped, questioned, tested and demanded more of him.  He has risen to the occasion and developed deeper understandings and gone in different directions than those he originally intended.

The Genotypes of board members are slanted towards Explorer because Hunters Gatherers, Teachers, Warriors and Nomads who don't have serious issues will eat as Os, As, Bs, and ABs and be content with that.  We Explorers and non-secretors who are not Explorers, and others who don't neatly fit into the broader categories have to be more demanding because our bodies are.

Hi.....just voted and new to this site. I am a Gatherer. Here's the kicker.....I went for 10 years following a Type A+ diet because of a high school teacher's blood test results with our class a very long time ago. Never had it tested medically, just followed the diet recommended for A's and recently my joints have become stiff and I have bursitis in my right shoulder, so I ordered a geno-type kit and blood test kit and
Wall-AH! I am an O+ Gatherer! I am excited about eating Buffalo and Lamb. I threw away the leftover peanut butter, replaced it with Almond butter, bought some low-fat cottage cheese, and got rid of the lentils, brown rice and potatoes! I am looking forward to healing with this high-protein diet, losing weight and feeling like I did at 40!

voted as gt2 gatherer, i'll get the taster test and secretor test soon. I kept jumping from gatherer to explorer during genotype testing but seemed more gatherer than other. Someone said popcorn, don't like corn much, but you should try the gluten free rice chex that's out now. I just fill a bowl full and eat away.

I think I've to pass the Lewis test as well...question here is... is there any difference when I made the secretor test with dr. D... what's all about and new to get to know if I'd be double -  I knew my mum is a B Rh - and my dad was an A Rh +, me an A2BRh+...then I asked myselve... hey...astonishing...normally we say..- &+ = -
but -&- = +...ahem.... oooh...oooh... ...my blood was tested in 1976 for marriage... should I go for further tests or better to pass the genetic tests first...
anny suggs or ideas more then welcome ...thanx in advance  ....meep..meep....

I know I am BT A and Rh +. I am Ao because my Mom is A+ and my Dad is O-.
According to the Genotype book I fall mostly under teacher due to measurements, longer torso and meso-ecto, however, I am gynic, almond jaw, and longer ring fingers with 8 loop and 2 arch fingerprints.
I just wonder if my Dads blood has any effect. We seem to tolerate more foods in common than my Mom and I.

This makes sense, it looks like the women here are mostly like the women in the real world. Many women have shorter legs, and it looks like 58% of you are a part of the three short legged genotypes.

Genotype 2 includes two bloodtypes - O and B. O is 43% of the US population, so there should be alot of GT2s. B's are 9%, so they just serve to boost the GT2 further.

Genotype 4 includes all bloodtypes, so they should have quite a number of women.

Genotype 3 has only one bloodtype, A, which is 38% of the US population. But GT4 steals some of the type A's...

So far I'm Swami Expressed as an Explorer and I redid my finger prints many times and my index finger measurements.  Being a B non-secretor and RH-  and my index fingers are shorter than my ring fingers and their fingerprints don't match really put me in the Explorer category.  However I do have a lot of Nomad traits being a B.  My diet is a mix of both I see. Seeing the Nomad printout in the beginning is not too different than the Explorer printout in the end except for some few minor changes.

Family and personal history does make a difference too!  Glad SWAMI can work it all out and make it easier for all of us.

I am a short Nomad. 5'3" and my "normal weight" is 100 lbs. I gained almost 20 lbs thanks to a whole bunch of steroid medicines from the doctor for allergies and stuff. YUCK.

I am an ectomorph but I gain muscle quite quickly when I start working out. I have some asymmetries as Dr. D. notes... shorter Nomads are lankier, have smaller frames, and have asymmetries.

My legs and torso (approximate lengths since I measured myself without help) are either equal or legs may be slightly longer. I was a size 0 long at my height.

The funny thing is, I am told most "shorter" Asians have shorter legs compared to their bodies. I was considered being exotic as a result of seemingly longer legs. Both my parents share the same figure, though (Dad is O and Hunter without a question.. I would say STRONG without even measuring him. Mom is AB and I need to measure her but she has the same frame but medium frame).

The whole leg length issue makes me wonder if Asian Bs tend to be more explorers. Asians seem to have larger head sizes, making their faces seem bigger, too. If there are other Asians here, I am quite curious about your responses to my comments.

Sidebar: Dr. D. says in general, Nomads tend to be taller in height with red hair and green eyes. In my funkier days, I would dye my hair bright red or purple and wear green contacts... My past life regression shows me as a typical Irish "redhead" living in Ireland, making paper. I am wondering if I was being drawn to my Nomadic tendencies in my past life, as well.

Simplifying my life. Only the best for my body, mind, and soul!

okay, now I am confused on the correct way to measure the index and ring fingers.  If I measure using the "palm method"  I change back to a teacher.  Please tell me the correct way to measure.
