Quoted from Dr. D
It would be hard to 'cure' male pattern baldness, because it is not a disease.

But.....if it's genetic, could it be reversed?  If there is a gene that predisposes you to baldness, could balding be stopped or even reversed if you figured out which foods to eat?

A small part of me can't wait to see what my next pregnancy holds for me.  Right now I can't think about another one but part of me can't wait to see if the GTD helps with the terrible nausea I have the first trimester.  The BTD didn't help.  This last pregnancy was the worst.

You're as bad as my wife.  We have all these ailments we are dealing with, with myself and the kids, and she wants to have more.  You girls are crazy for babies sometimes.  hehehehehehehe.  I'm sure God made it that way, or there wouldn't be any kids if it was up to most of us guys.  And I LOVE my kids.  And others.  But..........

Yes, God gave us this very strong desire to have babies despite anything that might stand in the way.  Once our babies get a certain age (about 14 months for me) we start convincing ourselves that we can handle another one.  We know we can't, but we convince ourselves we can.  In any other culture where a mommy has help, I wouldn't have any problem keeping on and on and on.  But when it's all on me, I just can't do it.

Quoted from Olerica

I have a super senstive scalp - so much so that when I go get my hair cut, I bring my own shampoo and conditioner.

I do that too! I'll have to look into those brands.  I have trouble with some natural brands due to the corn derivatives and rosemary that are often present.  I have some castille soap to attempt making some as well, if needed.  So far so good with my current shampoo.

My hair stylist told me that my hair is thicker on one side, and it's the side I sleep on...it gets stimulated more.  Since nobody sleeps on the top of their head, I wonder if a regular scalp massage might help with thinning up top?

I'm more interested in something to calm my sensitive scalp down, and help with the occasional breakout on my scalp.  Green tea with a little tea tree oil is a good start.

Oh, that's interesting.  A green tea scalp soak.  Sounds wonderful.  I know what I'm going to try tomorrow morning.

Maybe wearing a sock cap at night would stimulate the top of the head.

The toner and cleanser will be nice.

I don't really need a lotion for my face, it's pretty well balanced at the moment with help from the gatherer diet (it was dry before).  I just wash it and splash on toner and I'm ready for my day.

I do need hand lotion quite frequently though, I wonder if the night creme might work well for that?  It might be weird to put expensive facial lotion on hands, but I think they're worth it...your hands can really show aging.
