That was a lot more pleasant to read than the AARP article by Weill.  I dont care for him anyway but his pompousity(sp) is really starting to irk me.

There is a skeptic in the midst of the comments could be ying-ling, yangling, dingdong or whatever you all called them once before.

She didn't mean you, yingling, and welcome to the forum!

... she meant Yangy, or Geneticist, a recent troll.  I'm sure she'll concur once she's back online.

yeah, that guy is the crazy guy who called himself 'geneticist' on this board. he is also the fellow who make those hate films about alternative medicine, and either flunked out of naturopathic school, or somehow woke up after three years to discover that he was not in regular medical school.

I think if you leave a comment it is best not to address him/her/troll in any way. He/she/troll seems to like it when you address the comments they make.

A common and useful approach for ridding areas of Trolls is to avoid feeding them. They don't get fed, they go away. Hence the saying, "Don't feed the trolls". While it can be fun to 'play' with them oftentimes the result is it makes it harder to get rid of them.

O,oh.. talking to me?  Ok, so I shouldn't respond and say all the other programs I was on? I really didn't because I was afraid my comment would be too long..

I think she was saying to not directly address or respond to the troll. Which was what I thought I was saying. Making positive comments is a good thing! Trolls crave attention, you can say things without giving them the attention they need. (Starve the troll, don't feed the troll)

Ok. I replied to myself instead of troll. I added the programs that I followed..For muggles to know that I was dedicated to my health and weight and not just happened to go see Dr. D out of the blue.

Nice touch (comment) by Dr. D also is there.

Dr. D was right. It is the troll that he spoke of. He answered saying he went to ND school etc....I'm not even quoting him..it's hateful.. He's that close, in Bridgeport? Ok, I'm worried. He seems like a real whacko.

Yuck!  The troll has my husband's initials.  I can assure you, however, that's not my husband.

All I can say is, excellent article! It's about time someone paid attention to the details

As for the comments, someone certainly seems to have an ax to grind. Four years in ND school and now all naturopaths are EEEEEVIL!! Kinda makes you wonder what happened, doesn't it? Hmmm . . .

And I bet you didn't know you were so powerful, Dr. D. As one of my favorite buttons says, "Yes, I am an agent of Satan, but my duties are largely ceremonial."

However, our friend doesn't warrant being included in this review since he has no science credentials.
