Are most of you Teachers out there on the short side like the book states?

I re-measured my husband this weekend since with his "new" bloodtype he can't be a Nomad. He measures as a Teacher, but he's not exactly short at 6'3".

Almost everything else fits. Like whorl fingerprints, the inverted from left to right finger lengths, yeast overgrowth, etc.

He was measured correctly, so I guess he must be an exception to the short stature rule?

Those are averages, not everyone. Just because I'm left-handed doesn't auromatically make me an Explorer, which I'm not.
Gatherers are supposedly non-tasters. I am a taster.  It's fun to notice the similarities, but if you are not the average, it doesn't mean you aren't the GT.
When you do the poiint system, I score highest on Nomad! I can't be that as an O!!
We are all so different & it is such fun to compare. Enjoy!!

BTW, a big storm just passed through. What a difference living in the city makes. That one last month in the country was quite scary! Keep safe, everyone!

I know there are many variables in each GT. The Teacher profile says that Teachers are short. And although Abe Lincoln in listed as a probable Teacher is says the reason for his height was a growth disorder (I've loaned out my book so can't double check the exact words). He was 6' 4". I was just curious how many others might not fit the short description and not have some sort of disorder to account for it

I only fit about half of the Explorer profile, and I didn't even bother with the strength testing. Only the measurements matter as far as I'm concerned

Heidi, are you eating meat as an Explorer or still a vegetarian? I read your signature. Nice new shot btw.    Is 5'7" considered tall?  How's Mom? Tell her Hi from your little A friend lol.

Supposedly... Abraham Lincoln had Marfan's Syndrome. One of my doctor's way back when questioned whether I had it too. I don't (thank goodness!)

I fit some of the Nomad characteristics, but not others. I suspect that there will eventually be sub-groupings within each genotype too.... just a hunch....

Hi Mayflowers. No, I'm not eating any meat. I just can't, it all smells and looks so awful to me  . I've pretty much gone back to the A-nonnie diet. I like the food choices better

Mom is doing well. She's been eating like a true Gatherer. She's added beef, goat, lamb, turkey, and various fish to her diet. She is going to have her bloodwork re-done here shortly to see if there has been any change.

I've always thought of 5'7" as average, but I guess the national average is 5'4" so maybe any woman over 5'4" is considered tall? I don't know. I guess it depends on who you ask   For me any woman who is taller then my 5'10" is tall lol

Wow ladies..I feel so petite..   My height as always bothered me. My mom was short 5'1",  same blood type. I think she was a Teacher or Explorer..she loved meat.

I'm leaning more and more toward vegetarian unless it's the weather. I don't feel like eating, and when I do it's salad or fruit..I'm forcing myself to eat fish.   I haven't had any red meat since my clinic visit and I'm going this Saturday to have my risk factors checked for my next clinic appointment.

Ladies, what is your exercise regime? I'm thinking of going back to hatha yoga..to compliment my meditation.

I have two roommate teachers (don't follow/believe in BTD but they still let me test them).

Zach is 5'5", James is 6'3".. 2 extremes I guess.

You know... I have a real problem with this. What is the point of doing all the measurements, etc. if they really don't mean anything... if Dr.D's "eyeballing" trumps all that... then none of us really know our genotype.

(nothing against your comment, MF... just frustrated with this particular piece of info)

She's just saying he knows the types so well that he could probably figure it out by just looking at you.  He is the one who basically figured out the GenoTypes.  He probably has a keen eye for torso, leg length and fingers by just looking.  She knows her Blood type and Secretor status and he probably has the matrix memorized.  Maybe.  Seems pretty reasonable to me.  I wish he could come tell me for sure what I am.  Just a little bit of extra confidence.  If you wanted to know how to drive a race car, you could probably learn a lot from Kyle Petty in a matter of moments, and he of you.  I don't know if that's a bad analogy or not, but that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Sorry... I wasn't very clear. And perhaps my memory is not correct but I *think* by measurements, etc. Mayflowers is a teacher, not a warrior. Please pardon me if I have that wrong.

Well, I'm all confused.  You're saying Mayflowers is by measurement a Teacher but Dr.D is telling her to use the warrior program?  I thought the Measurements trumped all.

I'm sorry if I started something. I'm probably full of it and shouldn't have said anything.  I don't understand your frustration, but I'm probably missing something.  Sorry about that.  I took her "eyeballing" comment to mean he can probably tell what your measurements are by just looking at you.  Which would be congruent with the findings if you actually DID do the measuring.
