Yeah, my doctor is telling me to just hit the good stuff on the AB diet until I know for sure, but I may go to a local IFHI pracitioner tomorrow night real near me.  She has the kits on hand and says she would help me be sure with the measurements.

Funny thing is overall I feel like I have more energy and feel better, but I can tell there is still stuff going on down under if you know what I mean.

How you been?

ABNW, eat a lb. of ghee tomorrow.  Maybe you'll gain weight.  Good grief--Mayflours was telling me not to waste away and here you are dwindling down to nothing.  You know what I'd do until you find out for sure?  I'd make a list of the beneficial foods both diets have in common and eat only those.

Stefina, I had to laugh at your half person/half cartoon deal.  DH is that way.  He's very animated when he talks and he has big facial expressions.  He has always identified with the blond guy on Scooby-Doo.  I didn't grow up watching it so I don't even know his name (or I might recognize it if you remind me).

Don't worry about gaining weight. Even if you are skinny, if you try to gain, the pendulum may swing the other way!
I have heard of folks trying to gain & then they need to lose. I'd rather be a little underweight.
Also, some start gaining at age 40 or some women at or after menopause.  Somehow, PTL, I missed that. So, avoiding the SAD works. I used to hear that every 10 years after 25, you lose a few percentage points of metabolism. That was stressful as I was struggling with weight--not tons, but couldn't lose. Of course, I wasn't getting enough exercise.
[I went to weigh myself just now.] I weight around 135 eating 3,000 calories a day. I'm a little over for what I should be, but hey, I'd be starving at 2,000 calories & lately my blood sugar is kicking up. I am proof of a calorie is not a calorie!!
Thanks for listening to my ramblings.

I don't think I get anywhere 3000 calories.  I was tracking it and I don't think I'm getting anywhere close to 2k.  But I'm not sure how to up it.  When I eat too much, I feel lousy.

I didn't eat a pound of ghee yesterday, but I did eat more than normal.  I didn't lose any weight but stayed the same.  I check every morning.  Maybe I should forgo that too and just not worry about it.

I did that with the list.  And that's what I'm pretty much doing.  Except I had peanut butter the last two days which is a no no for Nomad's but Good for AB's and Teachers.  Hopefully we'll figure it out soon.  My wife was having bad stomach flare ups last night and I think some kind of stomach "thing" is going around lately and may be why I've been having the problems.  I don't know.  I just know right now I'm at the low end of the Healthy scale for my height.  The very low.  But that may be OK because I'm an ectomorph.

Maybe so.  The tall blond guy with shaggy hair and slumpy shoulders.  Is his name Shaggy?

I say if you feel good you shouldn't worry about what anybody else considers too thin or too fat.  I'd rather feel great than worry over what the scales say.

Well, my wife says I still look good.  If I compare what I used to look like, I'm like  .  But, I have to say, overall I feel better than over the winter and that was 10 or more pounds ago.  But, I'm not completely there yet, so I still worry.
