Diamonds for nomads:
Blueberries (difficult to get without sunflower oil-unless you make yourself) Cherries Peaches Pears Strawberries
My dried fruit favorite is turkish apricots (so moist and sweet), and I usually eat a couple after lunch. This takes care of my sweet tooth, which used to demand desserts, such as Haagan Das ice cream!
I keep raisins in the house also, and sometimes sprinkle them into whatever I'm eating for my main meal. Raisins tossed into food that is still hot will plump up and add the sweet flavor to the meal. This is an important part of my health routine. If I don't taste some sweet things during the day, then my body thinks something is missing.
Walnuts and almonds are my favorite nuts. I like my almonds in the form of nut butter, with walnuts chopped into it. Sometimes I'll have walnuts as a mid-meal snack, but I'm not really a snacker. Not that I couldn't do it, but it would get me into a habit that I don't want to promote.
Normal day, let me be aware of the treasure you are. Let me not pass you by in quest of some rare and perfect tomorrow. ~Mary Jean Irion

Walnuts, almonds, apricots, apples, cherries when found to comply. Score on the pears now that we have a loaded pear tree in the family, I have got to get a dehydrator! Same for the figs and blueberries, figs and blueberries on the tree but no dehydrator.
