Oh...you are my favorite person!

BTW, is there any way to remove those "revision history" blocks from ones posts? I hate being busted for fiddling.

mess up the entire 3-6 months of gene reprogramming?

I want to have 1/2 of a cup of coffee ever so often... not much maybe on an average once every couple of weeks.

Opinions?  Science?  Fact?  Truth?

Hi, Christina,
I haven't weighed in on this thread because black dots are something I'm avoiding like the plague right now, but this morning I read all the replies. I can't remember if you've mentioned it before, but have you tried yerba mate yet? You may be drinking it already every day, but I just got some yesterday and, boy, did it ever give me a lift! Mind you, I have never enjoyed anything about coffee except the smell, and the taste of it may be what you are missing more than the lift a person gets. I don't know the caffeine content of the tea, but it warns about comsuming additional caffeine so I assume there is a fair amount of it in the tea. The taste wasn't bad at all - I just drank it down plain.

Dr. D., in plain English, says after 3-6 months so any other opinion about this is just that. You only have a month to go, so that is just a total of one cup of coffee to give up to keep within his guidelines. You are doing so well and another month should have you in really good shape. Hang in there, Funky, you'll make it! But please do try the yerba mate if you haven't already. See that nice diamond! Wooooweeee!!!

Ha!!! Spring.. you are so funny!  You make me laugh.  Yes I do the Yerba and it does not have caffeine.  Google it.. I posted on this some time ago... but it has a different type of ingredient that works on a different part of the brain. I think it's called Mattine or something like that...

Wait till you try a half cup of coffee and a half cup of yerba together!  woo hoo!!! tastes delicious!

I'm hangin' in there as best I can but... these antibiotics make me nauseated.  5 more days of them.  sigh... yuck...

ha... I was going to tell you not to let your wisdom go to your head!!! Ha!!! But I thought that you might take it the wrong way!!!  Sometimes humorous sarcasm does not come off well in writing!

As far as the revision thing...I don't know how to do it.  Maybe someone else does.  You may have to delete and repost to get the effect you want.

Yeah...too late, I guess. What can I say? I'm only human. As for the humorous sarcasm, the safest route seems to be large doses of benefit-of-the-doubt (and those cute little smilies).

yup, I agree.  once you are truly conscious however, it's hard to let much go to your head.  hard knocks of life usually keep me in line.. and when I do get out of line, man I really learn my lesson...

yes... you must have been - but really aren't you glad?

I mean.. I'd rather be awake than asleep and lost.  The only way I was ever able to wake up was by touching hot stoves and burning the poop out of myself! ha...  Pain is a great teacher.

Anyway.. I'm off the Black Dot subject so... I'll stop!  ha...

I've never bothered with revision at all. I don't like the way it looks either. I simply copy my post, delete and repost. Easy too!

Hi, Christina, thanks for the info on yerba mate - just what I needed! Now I won't have to go digging around the web trying to find it! I felt pretty sure that you were drinking yerba but we are so "prolific" as someone said that things sort of get left behind. Besides, I was trying so hard to get switched over to Geno and with everything in a whirl on my projects that I need to go back and reread some of those threads again. We were in warp speed trying to get a handle on this thing! And what a fun bunch to be hanging out with in all our trials and tribulations!

Another thing, Christina, I do hope you are soon better of this junk that has you down!   I hate antibiotics too. They make me feel terrible. I think the last round I had was for a couple of tick bites some years ago. You take good care of yourself!   P.S. No wonder you've been dreaming of coffee!

Well, lets' see .. I think that trials may be a black dot, and tribulations are toxins!  Or, maybe trials are superduper because they make us strong and wise.
