If you can get her off wheat, that would be an awesome breakthrough. That is one of the worst offenders in diet in general.
Yeah, I'm trying to convince the kids to try different breads. When I buy Turkish bread we get a spelt one.
My oldest daughter has it right, actually. She really hates dairy (except for yoghurt) and doesn't eat much bread at all so she's already halfway there. The only problem is she hasn't replaced her dairy so I have her on a calcium supplement, just in case.

PS I used to have dark circles, too, & they went away with dietary improvements, pre-BTD.
I found the site through google (all hail google) last year when I was looking for more information on the BTD. It's a bit more challenging for us Aussies I think because a lot of the foods mentioned are specifically American (which is hard when it comes to beneficials), but I manage.

thanks for noticing us Mrs "T". Actually, I don't think there are very many, I always notice the location, and can count us on the fingers of one or two hands at most. Wulf's wife Sue wrote to one of the sites fairly recently, but I haven't seen anything from Wulf. Would love to, as he was such a vibrant contributor. I found out about this way of life from a Health shop almost 7 years ago, where I was looking for supplements. The owner, who knew I did Yoga, took a wild guess, and asked if I were vegetarian, and if so, was my blood type A? Her lucky guess hooked me, and I've been on the bandwagon ever since.

I something special is coming up and you need a quick cover to hide the black under the eyes you can put green eye shadow on it, pat it in and than cover with foundation, and/or powder

well, I still have have darkness and puffiness, but it could surely be worse. I don't eat wheat or dairy, but I do eat walnuts and once 30 years ago I tested as allergic to walnuts. I will try to stay off of them. Maybe the cuprit is sleep and stress. Anyone know any good face and eye exercises. I used to know some in yoga.

I hope my kids never ask how me and my wife met. It was long distance and we were engaged at the 3rd face to face meeting. But almost 10 years later and I'm still in love. Don't tell your kids that story though!!!!

I met my hub in a car accident! I was injured and in need of help, he passed by and saved my life, and like Humpty Dumpty, put me back together again! lol that anecdote my kids do know, and enjoy! the first part of the story, about me coming home from a 'wild party', that has been kept secret!
