There is a section for the BTD testimonials, but I was wondering if anybody had any awesome stories yet for the GTD. I've only been on it for one week (and I had a day or 2 completely off plan in that week), but I've already lost an entire INCH off of my waist! And my clothes look baggy. I've been at a good stable weight/size for at least a year now on my old eating plan, so it was a shock to me that I could lose a whole inch just like that and have my pants get loose so quickly. I have to admit I was skeptical of the GTD at first, but this is very, very encouraging. |

Good to hear it! I know on other threads I read similar testimonies. Not so much losing pounds, but losing inches. I've just gained weight, sad to say, but I'm also experimenting for the first time this winter with how food helps with my seasonal affective disorder, so it doesn't surprise me that I've gained a few. Good testimony. |

So you get SAD in Georgia? Wow! It may be overcast, but I would hope it would be warm enough to get out to execise!! Sometimes I can pick up WSB here in Chicago. In a certain area of Southern Illinois, I could get it better than the Chicago stations, which are a lot closer!! Sea Salt & Light, Mrs "T" O+ - hoping for a good testimonial soon!! |

That's a wonderful testimonial, Beetnik. Where do you live in northern Virginia? I grew up in Arlington, VA. |

That's lovely for you Beetnik. Unfortunately nothing has changed for me but as the Hunter regime is very similar to O sec. I don't really see how it can. |

That's where I'm at, NewHampshireGirl! Rusty, maybe it helps that I wasn't coming from the BTD. I was coming from a low-carb paleo diet (paleo means you exclude grains, legumes, dairy, sugar, and processed foods), so I was probably eating a lot of stuff that wasn't agreeing with me (like chicken) and probably causing all kinds of inflammation and whatnot. |

I've lost 16lbs since Jan 1st. I attribute most of my weight loss to the supplements. They have definately cleared me out and helped trim my waistline - I need a belt for all my pants (never before in my 35 years!) I have polycystic ovaries and notice a big difference especially with the calcium d-glucarate (a cellular detoxifier, esp. for excess steroid hormones). When I do avoids I feel achey in my bones and I itch inside (allergic reaction?). Also, I get a lot of eye discharge when I don't take the supplements. Those are all great reasons to convince me to stay on track. I am far more prone to getting ill when I do not take the supplements. So far I have managed to fend off 2 serious rounds of flu - I'd say that is a great investment! |

I'm glad to hear where you're from, Beetnik. I still miss my growing-up years there. Zola, now you have me looking at the supplements again to see if I want to go that route! Great news for you! |

My resutls so far: 16 lb. weight loss after 2 years of not being able to lose an ounce no matter what I tried. Clearer smoother skin then I have had in my adult life. More energy and motivation, PMS symptoms gone, and an overall peaceful feeling. I have been 99% compliant on GTD on January 3. I haven't tried the supplements yet. It's really nice to feel good again |

I tried going all diamond, or 90% diamond. Not as nice as I'd hoped. Still wondering if I'm not typed right. |

OK guys, I am slightly discouraged. After being on the Nomad plan for a week and a half, I got THE FLU. This is distressing to me because I never get sick. My hubby could be in bed with bronchitis for a week and I don't get so much as a sniffle. It's a joke among my family that if you're sick, come and sneeze on me because it won't do anything. I've basically been bedridden since Wednesday afternoon, and the only reason I'm functioning right now is that my husband finally convinced me to take some medicine to alleviate some of my symptoms.
So is this just coincidence or what? |

There is a local high school student doing a paper on the GTD for school. She has asked for testimonials from individuals on the GTD. I directed her here. What better way then to read it directly from you guys! I know all of you will be very helpful! |

Sorry to say I haven't lost an inch or a pound but I'm gonna stick with it. I just found out my secretor status but was doing Explorer most of the time. Maybe after a few weeks on Nomad I'll see some results |

I just posted this on another thread, but I thought I'd stick it here too: I went today to try on dresses because I don't have any that fit me that I can nurse in. A friend's wedding is in a couple of weeks and I hate to wear a skirt and a ratty, stretched-out shirt. Anyway, I picked out the 10-12 sizes because that's what has been fitting me from my own closet, and lo and behold, they were all too big! Even though I haven't lost pounds, and hadn't noticed my own clothes seeming baggier, everything I tried on was too big! So! As much as I thought the GTD was , now I think . |
