Spring, I have the same experience.    In the last 4 months my thumb and index finger pattern on both hands has become 'huge' (clearly visable) and the white lines seem to be reducing.    The other 3 fingers seem to be lagging a bit, but I expect they will appear soon.
I went entirely gluten free in February and feel very good

That is wonderful, Maldo! This all seems like a miracle to me. Sometimes I think there is no telling how wonderful I would have felt if I had known about this diet thirty years ago! The younger people getting interested can't imagine what a great opportunity they have to make the rest of their lives so much better!

Oh, another thing, I found that putting a tiny bit of oil on my fingers and pressing on glass works great!

Thanks Spring, that's a great idea. I don't love putting ink all over my fingers..What they used at the clinic came off easy.

I actually have been following the beneficials and whole wheat and bran are a beneficial, so I had been eating 1 or 2 small servings of bran bread each week as Dr. D said, to get in as many beneficials as I can. I'll look at my finger prints to see if the lines are worse or not.

Maldo, I was gluten free for a year and it was difficult for me. Did you find it difficult?

AC, that's great that you noticed fading, I hope I see some fading also.

Mine is improving in spurts. It makes progress and then just sorta stalls out (but doesn't get worse). Then, it gets markedly better and stalls again. The overall affect is slow improvement. I know my body is working on fixing/repairing several different things though, so as long as it's improvement, I'm fine with it. A body can only do so much so fast. Literally.

You're so right about that! You were noticing your line all along, but I had forgotten all about white lines until this week. What a nice surprise it was for me! Before, I was having a hard time turning pages because my prints were so smooth. I had noticed that difficulty for a while before starting on the diet but didn't have a clue what had caused the change. Now I know!

Oh yeah! I've been meaning to post this!  I've been REALLY strict with my Gatherer carbs since Jan.... And my fingerprints have gone from railroad tracks to bee-you-tee-ful loops now.     Even my palm lines are starting to come back too!  I also noticed that improvement seemed to start with the index fingers & work down.
